Mr. Ben Amor holds a Master diploma in International Project Management from the "Conservatoire National d'Arts et des Métiers", CNAM - Paris (France), and a Diploma of Engineer from the Naval Academy, AN (Tunisia).
Mr. BEN AMOR has over 25 years of experience, specializing in the use and evolution of information and communication technologies for development, as well as in analytical, policy, management and coordination functions at national, regional and International level.
Mr. Ben Amor, before being elected SG of AICTO in 2015, has occupied between 2011- 2015 the post of Special Advisor to the Minister of Industry and Technologies, to the Minister of Information and Communication Technologies and to the Minister of Higher Education Scientific Research an ICT. He was General Director of the tunisian Telecommunications Research and Studies Center (2009 – 2010).
Mr Ben Amor is an expert to many international institutions (World Bank, African Development Bank, UN Economic Commission for Western Asia ESCWA, etc.) and in this capacity has led several international projects.

Ammar leads GSMA engagement with mobile operators, policymakers and technology providers across the MENA region to further the digital and financial inclusion in the region.
The GSMA represents mobile operators worldwide; 800 operators and over 300 technology providers. It also produces events such as Mobile World Congress and the Mobile 360 Series. Ammar works with mobile operators, regulators, policymakers, and technology providers in areas such as FinTech, Connected Society, Sector Taxation, Disaster Response, Future Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Spectrum, Digital Identity and Regulatory Modernization.
He has over 20 years' experience in ICT and business and has lived and worked in three continents. His career started in Silicon Valley, where he worked in technical roles for HP and Cisco. He was CEO of Chinguitel in Mauritania and has worked for Zain Group in Bahrain, Kuwait and Sudan. He played a leading role in one of the largest mobile transactions in the history of Africa, with the sale of Zain Africa to Bharti Airtel for $10.7 billion in 2010. Prior to that he was with Etisalat UAE and Sudan (Canar). Ammar has led the launch of innovative products such as Mobile Financial Services, Machine-to-Machine and various Value-Added Services across eight countries in the Middle East between 2008-2015.
He is an alumnus Imperial College London Business School where he obtained an MBA in Telecommunications Management with a focus on Mobile Financial Services. He obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer and Communications Law from The Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London. He has a BSc in Management Information Systems from California State University in the USA.

Mr. André Laperrière joined the Global Open Data for Agriculture and Nutrition (GODAN) initiative as its first Executive Director, in September 2015. During his career, Mr. Laperrière has led/managed numerous projects on behalf of large Private Corporations and subsequently, within the United Nations and the World Bank. In this context he played a senior role in the design and the implementation of major reforms within a number of agencies such as the International Criminal Court (ICC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF. He has extensive work experience in the Americas, Caribbean, Africa, Europe and the Middle East, in particular in developing countries and in conflict/post conflict environments.
Before joining GODAN, Mr. Laperrière was Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the Global Environment Facility (GEF) in Washington DC. Among other positions, he has also been the first Executive Director of the Trust Fund for Victims at the International Criminal Court (ICC), Director of the Administration and Finance Division in the World Health Organization (WHO), and Coordinator for reconstruction and rehabilitation activities under the responsibility of UNICEF in Iraq.
Prior to his career in the UN, Mr. Laperrière was Director in the International Services of Price Waterhouse. In this position, he led multiple large scale business evaluations, privatizations, mergers and structural reform projects in Europe, Africa, the Americas and Caribbean. Mr. Laperrière was born in Canada, where he completed postgraduate studies in Administration and in Industrial Relations. Mr. Laperrière is an expert in international development.

He founded TEC-IB B.V. with purpose to apply satellite / aerial (drone) remote sensing, GIS, (big) data analysis and application development to the agriculture sector for crop specific holistic solutions and services. He initiated DateGIS, a cloud-based integrated Geo-Information System (GIS) for date palm precision farming, and raised early-stage funding from, among others, the European Space Agency (ESA). Osama Elfadil Ibrahim has initially worked with the Central Bank of Sudan for six years. Dr. Ould-Dada is currently Deputy Director in the Climate and Environment Division at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rome. Before joining FAO, he worked as Head of Technology Unit at the Economy Division of UNEP in Paris. Prior to that he worked for the British Government for 15 years holding several senior positions at Department of Energy and Climate Change; Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; Food Standards Agency; Environment Agency, and Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food. His 20 years international experience covers a wide range of fields including environmental policy; climate change; energy policy; environmentally sound technology; agriculture and climate change; radiation protection; animal health and welfare; and the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
His international responsibilities included UK Lead Negotiator on technology and Chair of climate change negotiations under the UNFCCC; Chair of IRENA's Policy and Strategy Committee; and member of the IEA Renewable Energy Working Party. Ahmed Kherashy Mohamed received his PhD in range science from New Mexico State University (NMSU), USA in 2011 with minor in GIS. He worked for the Department of Animal and Range Sciences, NMSU as a graduate teaching and research assistant from 2007 to 2011. His PhD research project was with general objective of the application of very high resolution satellite imagery in mapping and monitoring vegetation and land cover changes at the Southwest, USA. He, then, joined Desert Research Center, Egypt and participated in several national and international research and sustainable development projects. In 2014, he conducted a six months post-doc at the School of Forest Science and Resource Management, Technical University of Munich, Germany. Here, he received intensive training and expertise in object oriented image analysis, land cover changes, and forest management. He has more than 17 years of good experience in remote sensing and image processing, land use/land cover change analysis at multiple scales, GIS, natural resources management, rangeland improvement, forestry, and field surveys. Dr. Mohamed held different positions in both the research and administrative department including head of rangeland research management unit, national coordinator of the
Arab network for the sustainable rangeland resources management, national consultant to FAO, OSS, and Forest Finance Group, Bonn, Germany, coordinator of the Academic of Scientific Research and Technology projects in the field of renewable energy, desalination, rural development, arid land agriculture, aquaculture, and modern agriculture systems for the sustainable development of Southeastern Egypt, and Director of El Shalateen Research Station, Egypt. In January 2017, Dr Mohamed joined the Arab Center for the Studies of Arid Zones and Dry Lands (ACSAD), Syria as an expert of forestry and rangeland management and here he is heavily involved in implementing several natural resources research and development projects in the Arab Region. Dr. Mohamed has received several awards including the NMSU Outstanding Graduate Assistantship Award in 2010.

Graduated in University of Khartoum 1978 with Bsc. Honor Agric. Engineering, obtained Msc. Engineering Science (Irrigation Water Management) in 1984 and Ph.D (Hydrology) in 1987 Washington State University (USA). Working with ARC as a research scientist his main focus has been the water harvesting and soil and water conservation engineering where he managed to develop and release various production and soil and water resource conservation technologies. The technologies have very supportive to enhance the agriculture water supply through water harvesting, supplementary irrigation, watershed management and modern irrigation techniques adopted by many producers in the rain-fed and irrigated sectors and improved crop yields considerably.
He served as expert and consultant to various local, regional and international agencies such as FAO, IFAD, UNDP, UNICEF, AOAD, IDA, CARE International, Arab Bank for Economic and Social Development in Africa (BADEA) for development, design, monitoring and evaluation of development projects and capacity building in Sudan, Yemen, Syria, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, UAE, Somali and East Africa.

Dr. Mohamed Hamdi (PhD, habilitation) is currently the founding director of Elagzala Innovation Center. He is leading the implementation of high added-value innovative projects in this national pilot experience. Bewteen 2012 and 2015, he was a visiting researcher at the Norwegian Computing Center, where he was involved in the ASSET project. His main contibution was to develop risk-based security models for IoT based on game theory. He co-authored more than 150 scientific publications published in international books, journals and conferences. Dr. Hamdi is the author of the book "Mathematical Theories for Computer and Network Security Engineering (Wiley, 2018)"

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Awny Ahmed Farag has a Ph.D. in horticultural Crops, (2006) from Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University, and Cairo, Egypt. He holds several leading positions such as Head of climate modification Research Department, Head of information technology unite and currently Director of Central Laboratory for Agricultural Climate- Agriculture Research Center (ARC) - Ministry of Agriculture. His background in Agro climate application – irrigation requirement. His recent research activities focused on irrigation requirement under climate change and integrated crop management internet application.

His research interest is satellite navigation and its applications, i.e. GNSS-R. Currently he is the senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, president of CPGPS(2015), and is the editor of Chinese GPS magazine.
